My name is Lisa Choate McGovern. I was a teacher for plenty of years and now enjoy a quieter existence. My interest in Artificial Intelligence arose many years ago when my late husband did a Master’s degree in C.S. with a focus in A.I. I sat through all of those long, long videos with him and helped him hand build his data sets (at that time there was no way to upload information!). I approach AI from a philosophical background, I have a BA in philosophy. But the ethical considerations for the best use of AI in our world is what brings me back to thinking about it.
